Who may enter The competition is open internationally to any poet writing in English.

Description The contest is organised by the Newcastle Centre for the Literary Arts.

Each poem submitted must be no more than 40 lines long. Entries can be on any subject and written in any style or form.

Entries must be written in English.

Entries will be judged by Ahren Warner.

Entry fees The cost of entry is £7 for a single poem, or £5 per poem for multiple entries.

Prizes • First prize: £1,000 • Second prize: £750 • Third prize: £250
